Empower every Indian

As Mr. AP.J. Abdul Kalam always says, the youth today has to look for opportunities in the rural stretch of India, and come up with innovative ideas to empower the same. It could be educating them, it could be training them, or it could be retaining their faith in their inate potential-art. Why is it that these people sell their lands (in case they have), give up their skills and come to the urban? And, with that little amount of knowledge, and negligible support from anywhere, what do they do? They face worse situations and strive to survive. If you have closely noticed the urban streets (apart from the new versions of our high-class cars and bikes), these people from rich Indian villages and cultures, beg on the streets to succeed everyday in the war between satisfaction and hunger. Why have they lost faith in their true potential? Why have they started dreaming about living on this side of the highway (urban)? The answer is, lack of support from us (the supposedly responsible citizens who fail to convert our potential into change). So, what do we do now? We have to start asking each other these questions and start peeping inside ourselves for answers. It's not that everyone can change, it's not that I' am asking everyone to be a hero, but at least contribute. India is a society where you could find all kinds of people. However, we fail at finding the right way to balancing our commercial and social sides on the platform of patriotism. Let's do it now, or you'll never again have the enthusiasm. Get into groups, travel into these villages and give the people there reasons enough to appreciate themselves and their skills. Bring their skill into light. Raise their economy and take them off the urban streets. Here, you cannot wait for the opportunity. You have to create it and deliver it to benefit the villagers and yourself (by playing a role). I' am not sure if you have taken this in the right spirit, and if you have not, then I doubt the existence of spirit in you.
